An endowment gift to Sigma Kappa Foundation today provides a brighter picture for our future. When you make a donation to an endowment, you give a gift with both immediate and long-term benefits.

Endowment donations are invested. A portion of the annual income from the investment is used to address immediate needs at the Foundation. The remaining funds are reinvested to ensure indefinite support.

An Example of How It Works

Couple Smiling Marylou Sayler Turner, Xi, University of Kansas, and her late husband, John, are outstanding examples of lifetime supporters of Sigma Kappa. Over the years, they discussed ways in which they could uplift others through their gifts. After John’s passing in 2016, Marylou began to put their words into action, and Sigma Kappa is a beneficiary of their grand plans. She partnered with the Foundation to create the Marylou and John D. Turner Lecture Series, which will provide the resources to bring high caliber, dynamic leadership speakers to Convention.
